• Question: If artificial intelligence will eventually surpass human levels of intelligence, what will we do? when will we become redundant to our own lives?

      I don’t think anyone knows. We do know that the human brain is so complex that we don’t understand how it works yet, and so it’s probably premature to assume we can make something better than the human brain at this point.

      But … if intelligence is simply a result of incredible levels of computer power and data, we should be able to create an intelligent machine that is similar in intelligence to humans one day.

      The question is, will it think and behave like humans, or be very different? And will it want to live and cooperate with us, or dominate us?

      No-one knows yet!
