I love that fact that my job allows me to look up and read about the latest happenings in AI. I get to read articles on websites and research papers. It’s so exciting finding out about what other people in this field are doing. If I then get to “play” with an idea, by developing some code and a pipeline to test an AI model and how useful it is for a specific purpose, then all the better!

I love discovering new things, ways of thinking and the different approaches that other researchers have on the same topics.

I get a lot of control in my day and I run my own lab which is fun! I like having visitors and hopefully I’ll get collaborators during my PhD. It gives me lots of opportunities to also talk to experts and learn from them and find friends who are also interested in research and space things and lasers (which I study) 🙂
