  I love my current job as a professor, but I’d really like to be an author and write best-sellers 😉

  I’d have to agree with Andrew Maynard in terms of wanting to be an author of novels. It would also be amazing to direct or produce films. I do really enjoy my scientifc work and I currently do creative writing as a hobby, but author or film director/producer would be my alternative jobs.
