Andrew Maynard answered on 18 Jan 2024:
I do! I’m a professor in an American university and I get to do some quite amazing things! For instance, this evening I have a class called “Pizza and a Slice of Future” where a group of undergraduate students eat pizza and talk about how technology might change the future and how we can help ensure those changes are good — which is pretty cool!

Carl Peter Robinson answered on 18 Jan 2024:
As long as I’m doing data science, machine learning or related research, then definitely! Sometimes, I have to do tasks that aren’t related to those topics, which can be laborious, dull, and frustrating. But I am relied upon to do them by my company because of my skills, so I still do them to the best of my ability. That’s part of what being professional and responsible is all about.

I don’t have an official job as I’m retired. What I do now is with young people like you. I try and get them interested in astronomy, computers, robotics, maths etc. I show them telescopes, old and new computer systems and set them puzzles that need some logic to solve.
